the man that installed my router this morning has been looking for a stained glass person for cabinet doors that he makes.  He does custom cabinets like jelli cabinets. He asked me for my card

I asked him about custom frames and yes, he can design frames for me

So kinda a win-win for me.

Cool.  And that kind of business brings more word of mouth work too.  Good for you Joan.

I showed him several of my recent panel.  When he said he does jelli cabinets, I showed my 4 season panels, which he liked the idea of.  (me ,too, cause I would get 4 panels instead of just one) He loved the fact that I do the work myself and can design the panel.

Made the bother of getting a new router worthwhile.  Will be a valuable source for frames and profitable for you

Sounds great Joan. He can be a sort of sales agent for you. Give him some pictures of stained glass cabinet doors, so he can show clients. If you have the book "300 Cabinet Doors" (I think thats the name) some illustrations from there would be good. They are listed by general style and form a good jumping off point.

On the other hand, you can actively sell nice wooden framing for him.

Win-win for both of you.
