As some in the glass world are aware, Dan Fenton of Oakland CA, guru of glass fusing, has suffered some severe health situations in the past couple of years. He has facial cancer and even though he has lost an eye, he has begun to teach again. Problem is, like many cancer patients the doctor bills are ruining him. So, to assist him with financial issues, Sunshine Glassworks in Buffalo, NY is selling Dan's book on kiln work, fusing, slumping, etc. with all the proceeds going to Dan. The book sells for $55, plus the packing/mailing fee of $12. At the recent American Glass Guild conference in Buffalo, 10 books were available and quickly sold out.

Order by e-mail ($67) to orders@sunshineglass.com and please include complete name, address and credit card info. Sunshine accepts Paypal, Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards. If you do not wish to e-mail your credit card info, you may call Sunshine at 800-828-7159 in the US and Canada, 716-668-2918 from other foreign locations. You may also fax your order to 716-668-2932 for immediate attention and delivery.

How wonderful of Sunshine to do this!  I certainly hope that Mr Fenton will be ok.  And big cheers to you for bringing this good cause to people's attention Vic.
