Mine is trembling in anticipation.
I had to move stuff, the light table is up by the soldering bench so he iron has a preview of Whirligirl!
The plumbers have taken over my workspace, we have no water, was thinking of washing floors today! Just have to play on the computers I guess!

my soldering iron is on a mini vacation.       I cleaned all day yesterday and today besides the usual, a little laundry and bed making and so forth, all I have done is go through my pattern books looking for cute and quick sun catchers again.

Just had the bee Jesus scared out of me, had the biggest cricket I ever saw, walking across the studio floor, out of the corner of my eye.  Can't tell ya how the heck he got in here.

mine has been on a more than 12 day vacation so it's itching to get going again... unfortunately I have 2 stepping stones to pour and a third to cut and grind before I can do anything that requires soldering...

Mines saying will you leave me the heck alone for awhile...but I'm mean and I won't give him the time off for good behavior.

Sleeping peacefully in it's holder until I get my NEW workplace built, if it knows what is good for it (and me too)!

Now I know what that noise is in the soldering drawer, the other iron!

Mine stayed home and kept an eye on the glass room while I was on vacation in Vegas.  It is looking forward to my lead class continuing on Friday, and seeing how far along I get with my pansy over the weekend.  If not, at a minimum, it will be helping with my final lead class again the next Friday.

I think it may be jealous of the motorcycle, which does get to head out on rides about every 2 days or so in the summer time.  I have done more riding than playing with glass over the past month or so.

One has been in a coma for months since it was fired for working irresponsibly. The other is on vacation for a few days as it has been fairly busy lately.

My Hakko is sleeping peacefully in its cradle on my workbench...just waiting until I can finish etching a mirror to use in my current project.  All the others are in a box under a workbench in my studio...They don't get loney because they can keep each other company...

My soldering iron plays it cool during the week days.
L'il Blue and I had an unsuccessful attempt at a repair last weekend. Now it's recovering from the trauma of hearing me cuss like a sailor at it after I cracked a piece of glass right next to the piece that I was attempting to remove. Totally not Blue's fault, though.

With any luck, we'll be back in action on Sunday!

Mine is in suspended animation, thought hopefully will be awakened in  a few days for a small workout and then sedated again.

Mine works out...back and biceps one day, gets a rest day, chest and triceps, rest day,legs... He finished the first phase of a big project (to be posted in a few weeks), and is waiting for phase two..if I can find someone nearby to do some sandblasting for me..then all the glass gets packed up and moved to it's new home for the next two years while we build.

Mine is sighing because I haven't stroked it or even played with it since the gift exchange and it is going to get even lonlier for the next two to three weeks at least.  Too darned busy with other things in the summer. bummer to say the least.

Summer is not the most productive time I would say for a lot of us...life happens..grab it while you can...the glass will still be there when you get back.

I've been using mine quite a bit lately. I've been making a few suncatchers and I need to finish up a panel with a Nautilus shell in the center. My kiln needs a part and so while that sits idle, I'm getting these smaller projects completed.
