Working on this one all month as I had put it aside to do the Interlocking Star. I had a lot of frustration with it and am glad it is FINALLY FINISHED.  dancing
It is approx. 10" x 12",  and I would have enlarged it as the directions suggested to avoid all the tiny pieces, but I was afraid I would run short on the types of glass I wanted to use.

Gorgeous is right.  God Bless you with those small pieces.  Alot of people run away from small pieces.  But I love the detail they will give at times.  Isn't this the one that you were asking about plating for the water fall.  It looks great

Yes it is the one the pattern said to plate - just several sections of the waterfall with a textured clear iridized. I used iridized for the sky, so I wasn't going to add more.  As each piece would be soldered at the top and bottom only, I didn't want the look of the tinned sides of each piece breaking up the fall, and was afraid if I only foiled the top and bottom that it wouldn't hold. I was having issues with the foil sticking this time anyway. I thought about plating the whole front of the fall, but I didn't want to obscure any of the stripes that already look like water. The only glass I had that might have worked was a  clear with rain drops. After holding it over the finished piece on the light box I felt it did not add to the piece, so decided against it. I can always add it.

Looks great Audrey. I especially love the graining in the glass used for the glass of the waterfall...it really looks like water flowing over the edge...great job!

I love the fish. Maybe it could use a squeeze of lemon, or a little tartar sauce.

Don't think so - Koi (carp) don't taste all that good (even with lemon and/or tartar sauce) and besides that, you would then have all that LEAD and COPPER in your diet - not a good thing!
