here are 2 more pieces for my table display.

I had made one of the sail boats a few years ago for a show and there was almost a fight over the piece.  People were actually bidding on it to buy it, so nath I ran home that night and made a second one, well guess what, it is still in my inventory. lol

The jewel box has a glass (the aqua colored glass) that I don't know the name of.  Love the stuff and would love to get more.  It looks something like antique glass, but it also has the appearance of specs of glittery stuff in it. It also has long irregular lines in the glass here and there, it is not smooth on the back side.  It is beautiful.  I am posting a close up of the aqua, does anyone know what it is?  The top is made with everglade, which I really like as well.  I use glass globs on the bottom of my jewel boxes as feet.

So glad the trial set up went well and hope it does the day of the show. Wow a fight huh should have gotten their names . I do love that sailboat and can see why there was a bidding war going on.

I did get their names, but seeing it was Christmas time they just went and bought something else for the person they wanted the sail boat for.  So all wasn't lost lol

The sailboat is great. Guess I have been in a sailboat mood lately. I am working on a piece with 2 sailboats.

Thanks Audrey.  The sail boat itself is from a panel pattern that I tweaked and made into a table top one instead.

I used the zinc came you use for framing out panels or for picture frames, for the sail mast.  Worked pretty well for that.
