I can relate completely.  The last time I cleaned my shop I came upon $1000. I completely forgot I had. And I"m not rich.......not sure how or when it got there but we sure had fun spending it! lol.

LOL!  That's how I feel, Amber!  A fifty in a coat pocket was the best I've ever done!

lmao-Kev.
I'm not quite sure when it happened, but I remember counting it and hiding it from the dog who rapes my desk. I never thought about it again because my husband usually counts money and makes deposit slips. There was one day he had thought he should have a lot more cash than he had. Must have been then, but it turned up just when we needed it.

When I was a kid, I once found a $50 bill in the pocket of a bathrobe my grandmother pulled out of the goodwill bag for me to wear when I spent the night at her house -- she quickly took it from me and told me it needed to go to St. Jude's -- it wasn't until I was much older than I understood the significance of me finding it and St. Jude's... (I was probably 3rd or 4th grade when this happened)

been cleaning, packing and pricing for the show, and will be adding these items to my show inventory.

the jewel box is 10"L by 5 1/2"W by 2 1/2" deep

the beveled trinket boxes are 2 " square

as a side note:  De, the patina is what I was telling you, black first, and the copper while it is still wet, to make bronze

Love the tops on the trinket boxes and the colors of the jewel box. They should sell well.

Thanks Anne.  I had gotten several boxes of free bevels from y glass for any purchase of $50.00, so had decided to use some of them to make these boxes.  Can't beat free. lol

Thanks Kev. Yes you could say I have a variety of things that I have made over the last few years.  Never knew what would sell and not sell.  Last year I didn't get to do any shows so some of this was what would have been for last year.

They are all so nice Joan, all ready for the show now? Seems like you have enough to sell.  Did the display canopy go up well?

Thanks Barbara.
Tomorrow we are setting the camopy up, in the yard.  YOu know how that goes, hurry up and wait, when you need help.  I should have my new display grids on thurday, so I will be playing with that too, so that when I get to the show I know exactly how I will set everything up.  Sure will make my life easier.  I want to order some cargo carriers for the grids so I can put them on the roof of my vehicle to transport them, like Anne does

I had planned on doing that, and the other day I realized that the runners on my roof do not have the ones that go side to side, sooooooooo, more darned money lol.  Hopefully they aren't to expensive.

Thanks Di

You know if you need any of those grids, they shop really fast.  I ordered them on Friday afternoon.  They said that they would ship Tuesday and I would have them by Thursday.  Not bad huh.  They are in St. Louis.

yeah houston, we have canopy. LOL

The canopy is up and only took about 10 minutes before we figured what the heck we had been doing wrong which caused all the struggling.  The legs must be pulled out at an angle to be able to slid and click the sides into place.  Thank Goodness, cause it wasn't a pretty thing the first time., lots of @^*&@!*#@ going on then.
