This small panel is a gift for my nephew.  I finished it a while ago, but have been visiting family and forgot to post a picture.  Thank-you to every one for the help and input on the border.

Smiles!!

The border suits it well, very fresh and Springlike. Nice job.

What a great way to "frame" that tulip piece! A great way to set off an existing piece, makes it new again!
Plus, with the long-ish strips radiating from the panel it makes the piece look a bit bigger and draws your eyes to the tulips... brilliant!

Thank you so much, Gwen!  At first, I wasn't sure about the border, I thought it looked just 'stuck on'.  But the little piece needed something more since it's original purpose had changed.  Now I really like it and can hardly wait to give it to my nephew when he comes to visit next month.   Smiles!!
