Actually, some dragons would have scales, and to me, this gives that appearance...Looks like a skilled artisan intentionally did this special "Joe Embellishment" technique to produce this look.

Ok, so I think we can just plan a trip to Becki's and she can give us our fusing lessons!!!!! This is really nice Becki!!

You've got my vote.

Becki I love this plate and the dragon is perfect...and the crackling gives it more character.

Dark chocolate!!!   Mmmm.  Okay-I just have to pack up the bike and get on the road.....I can bring some homemade jams/jellies to add to the party (if someone else bakes the bread...I am baking-impaired).

Sheesh, I'm not even a fuser and I want to come on the trip! Sounds delicious!
Beautiful Dragon plate, Becki!
I'd like to have 4 Fuji rolls on it... and maybe I'll share (but I seriously think I could eat them all).

Thanks, Gwen!  I'm not real big on sushi but my clients are!  Now, if you put some gyoza or spring rolls on that plate and I'd be all over it!!

Love the crackle look. Do you think that luster paper would work well for lettering? I'm torn between frit on stencils or some sort of paper.
