Done! I'd pay money for my soldering to be as smooth as Annabelle's is on that duck! I was hoping the new Hakko iron would help..sigh.. guess I'll have to make more stuff to practice more.    Baseball
Thanks everyone for the input. Graham,  I got the mast a little straighter and hopefully the rigging is more or less in the right place.

Soldering looks great from here.  That is my main issue, too. Love the way this turned out. It has such a good feeling.

It's beautifully done!  Love the pattern, you do such a great job with them!  And about this soldering?  I don't see anything wrong with it?  Believe me..there are places in mine also that I wish were better..but after going over the same spots multiple times I finally just have to give up and hope that the patina makes it look simply marvelous..lol.

I love the colors in this piece..just perfect, gives it a quiet, serene and peaceful feeling.  Who wouldn't want to be riding along in that boat?

Nice job Tre!  De

Turned out great.  You nailed 2 parts that are always hard for me.  The sky and the ocean both look great.  I can't tell you how many times I get the focal point of a design right and then spend a huge amount of time trying to get the sky right.

Tre,

I'm with Kev, if you hadn't told us we wouldn't know the crow's nest is missing (except maybe the veteran sailors like Graham)

Consider it a job very well done.

Thank you everyone. I write a little something for each of the pieces that I make.

          Schooner Moon

A schooner moon has lit the night,
It's wonderous glow a glorious sight.
The smell of salt, the kiss of breeze
The rock of tide on gentle seas.
Take me, O love, this starry night
In arms of sail on windfilled flight.
