I know a lot of folks use the glass eye software and I've tried the free download 3 times now, using 3 different email address  wink, and I just can't seem to draw on a computer. I try it, get frustrated and stop then a month or two later I'll go back and download again but I haven't the patience to relearn a skill that's worked for me as is for so long... anyways, enough of that *lol. What I'm looking for is a software that I can use, free of course :), to make very specific sizes for when I print something. Basically I want to draw a pattern and scan it onto my computer and just go say print it with a dimension of 21 inches by 34 or whatever I need. I've seen a ton of photography re-sizing stuff but I think that's more for posting pictures on forums and resizing them for web constraints, not so much for getting bang on measurements from a printer.
Hoping for some recommendations from you fine people  Big Flowers.

Oh, darn Amber, there is one for stained glass, but my memory door don't want to open this morning.  Go onto the Delphi website, and they have it.  It is resize of something like that.  Sorry, Joan

Just went and found it for you it is called "rapid resize"

The only thing I wish it would do is take a photo, say of a face, and turn it from color into a clear black and white image. You can print in color, or you can print in black and white, but if you take a color photo and want to print it to black and white (to save ink etc) it turns it into an Andy Warhol painting. I tried to get a good image of my granddaugher's face and it wouldn't convert it. I had to print it out in color, which actually worked very well...still havent finished the project but you get my drift

I can do that in Adobe Photoshop Amber but not sure if it's a free program (DH has all kinds of stuff on our computer) but you might google it and see if they have a free download.

I use Windows Paint, it is not specific, but I can print a letter sized scan pretty much to the size I want. For more precision on something I did a few years ago, I took the printout and chopped it up to fit the frame. Must have taken all of a five minutes to resize a few pces.
I have an old PhotoShop, PhotoShop Elements and a few of something else, all came with printers or scanners for nix, all have a line drawing conversion tool and b/w options.
My fave is PaintShop, easy to use and affordable.  Is this what you want to do?

Worked over with PaintShopPro v.7

Using the cartoon mode in Kodak Easy Share, you can get a fairly clear image from a photo. I obtained the easy share program free from the kodak website.

very, very cool! Thanks for the tip on the Rapid Resizer! Just printed out a pattern and it was great, I'm starting with the free 14 day trial to make sure it does what I want and it was incredible easy to use *smiles*.
Do you guys know if in the full version it comes with more glass samples? No big deal if it doesn't but it was fun playing with it *lol.
