Finally finished! Thanks to everyone for their support through this piece, and a special thanks to Becki for her fusing assistance! I could not have done it without it! I could actually apply one more coat of paint in some areas, but at this point I will debate on it for a few days before deciding to leave well enough alone or proceed.

The darker spots you see on the lilypad in the second pic, is the fusing paper residue on the back..I have not washed it let...letting this sucker cool for a long tome before it hits water.

I had to look before I headed out the door!  I like this soooo much!  Even the bubble to the left of the fish's tail looks like it's smiling!!  I think this one is finished!!  Remember...more paint means another firing!  I'm not sure your nerves could handle it!! LOL!

PS...you're welcome...my pleasure!  wink  Now I'm out the door!!   th_0f05e6b06ecdd0c

Kev, this is the coolest thing I've EVER seen! Remember less is more - I wouldn't chance another firing! You've done a fantastic job on this! Congratulations.

Thanks guys..I'm just so thankful I could save it. This whole process was quite the learning experience and actually has me thinking of the next version of this one to come. I think the next time I will fuse the branches in place with small light pink blossoms, like cherry blossoms.  ....more ideas to come....

Kev,  dancing that is amazing dancing .  If someone hadn't read this thread they would never know the problems you ran into.  It looks as though the entire piece was a planned art piece.  Now grab yourself a  Glass of Wine and sit back and admire it.

Kev, that looks horrible.  I can't believe you posted a pic of that and would admit to making it.  Bad, just bad.

My reccomendations are as follows:

Put this piece in a box and tape it up securely.
Take the box to the post office and mail it to me.
I have a perfect spot on the wal...........er..............I will take care of disposing it for you.

Serously, It looks great.  Don't change anything.
