and not that it has to be organized or anything because we're basically doing it now anyway.

I made the interlocking star and others liked it and are making their own.....maybe we can vote on a theme each month and a few of us either make something in that theme OR one person make something and others make it thier own way like we're doing now.

I know this is similar to past ideas we've all passed around but maybe the third time is the charm in trying???

Would you like to head this up Malinda and take charge of it? I think many would be interested.

hummmmm, I can surely make something at least each month and if others like it they can make one too.....maybe people can pm me something they want to make or have thought about making and I can go from there so at least I know I'm doing someone's ideas and not just mine?
whatcha think??

How much time are you thinking about allotting  to make each piece? I still have to finish what I am working on before I can make the interlocking star which is next on my list, so I am looking at about 1 1/2 weeks before I can start this.

You do realize we are not all as fast as you are Malinda!!!!

Maybe you could post something the first of every month in a new area just for these "finally finished" like we did the interlocking star and as people do it and get it done they can put it there so that way there is no pressure and the finished projects all stay together...

just a thought

I should have stated above that you could create a new "thread" in this same area with each new project like we did the interlocking stars under "finally finished" -- that way the thread is always there when us slower members get around to completing your ideas

sorry for the confusion, I didn't realize this thread was already in its own area...

This is what I'm thinking....someone come to me (PM) like Scooch just did and let me know what they want to see. If they have anything specific specific like tulips vs. just flowers then let me know that. I'll search / ponder and decide on something either unique or that I've haven't seen 1 million times. It will also have to be something each person can make "their own" somehow.

So, Scooch would like to see something 4th of July related. I have an idea already......In the next week or so I will start a little project and say how you can personalize it. If you like it, you'll play, if not that's ok, maybe the next one you'll like?

As for my speed lol and how long a person has to complete something I say indefinately. I also have about 6 other commissions to be working on so depending on how many "requests" come to me maybe I'll be able to start on an idea sooner rather than later...it will just depend. There is no reason to limit the amount of time someone has to make an item. I haven't looked at the mainboard yet but I just think two new threads for each project is sufficient. One being chatting about the idea and the second for pictures only.

So, it's 1140 pm here and I have to get to bed now but tomorrow I will continue conversations if need be :)

Loving the red, white, and blue!!

I'm up for doing different versions of some sort of theme or pattern.  I really have liked seeing the different stars.  :)

That red, white , and blue is very effective. It looks so different the way you have laid out the colors. I love all these ideas.
