Here is the next project I am thinking about using fusing and painting as the techniques used.

I will post as I go..there are going to be a lot of steps involved in this piece...from all the fusing of the elements to making my own nuggets for the bubbles, to painted details..so it will be longer process. I hope to get it started on my next days off. I may scale it down in size. Currently it is 18 x24..we will see what I have out in the studio. It might end up 12 x 18.

Rebecca, I will post when it is done. It is such a hassell to put the batteries back in the camera (they die if I leave them in), put it into the computer, crop it, put it in Photobucket, thenh send it over here. Yikes.
I just cut out about 9 tiny pieces with the biggest being the size of a pinky nail, down to half that size. I decided to foil them before I go any farther as some may be totally covered by the foil and I have to rethink and redo the water lily.

Ok, can we compromise and just ask for half the number of pictures we'd normally get to see? Please????

Why put them in photobucket? Can't you just upload them here from a folder you place them in on your computer?

Audrey, if the pieces are tiny and the foil is going to hide them, you can cut some foil narrower and use it. Cut it before you peel the backing off of it.

I do that often with tiny pieces..another alternative is to cut them down if they are already foiled, with an exacto knife and trim them back. It's always better to make your foil thinner before removing the backing.. Nice pattern Kev, that should be beautiful, can't wait to watch the progress on this one. De

Kev, I didn't know I could do that here. I will try. I was going to cut the foil down, but was hoping I didn't have to as I wanted secure solder lines. It all worked out I think.
