Over 2 years ago I bought Micro Jewellery 1.1mm and 1.4 mm (6 to a pack) in a plastic package, diamond drill bits. There is no manufacturers name on the box.  The first box I bought lasted me well over a year and they were really good.  I bought my second box in March this year and averaged half a dozen holes with each - really poor performance.  I just opened my second replacement box.  I got 5 holes from the first bit, 2 holes from the second one and it's toast already.  Does anyone know of any decent drill bits for sale anywhere?  I don't want big ones - the 1.1 and 1.4 were perfect but I don't want to waste more money buying these ones again.

And yes, I'm using them properly - submerged in water, using a drill press, lift the drill often using a rapid up and down motion, don't try to do it too quickly! Like I said the first box lasted a long time so obviously I was using the bits correctly. I think what I'm dealing with is a quality issue (it doesn't indicate either where these were made) but if any of you know where I can get decent bits I'd appreciate a heads up.   Thanks.

No, they are a cheap tools supplier.  Their tools are not known for quality, if you know what I mean.  LOL!

They have a website you can order from.  I'll look and see if I can find a link to the bits so you can see them.  Be right back.
