That is an internet explorer problem. The Skype links for members can also be found via their profile. Malinda...consider switching your browser to Firefox. It is much more efficient, safer, and very customizable. I'd never go back to IE.

I just changed over to firefox too Malinda.  Kev and Di had been telling me about it and the 'cable guy' was here yesterday and told us that Firefox is everything Kev said and more. He also said IE is the last browser he would use. Once thing you will have to do once you switch over is reregister your user id#'s.  I had to redo here, my on-line banking and other things I had a user id # to log in with.  No biggie, just takes a few minutes but you'll be really surprised when you see how fast Firefox is!  I recommend making the change too.

I just switched a couple hours ago. It seems so much faster. There is only one aspect so far that I miss and am trying to figure out.
IE would never accept Flash Player. I had to use the AOL browser to play and videos or even see some photos. So far I get them in Firefox. Yeah! I can uninstall AOL.
AND I finally can see the chatango box instead of a little red X.

I'd never go back to IE.
There are some sites that are so anal - you need IE to get them to render correctly - they insist on using a lot of FrontPage specific coding that does not adhere to the current W3C conventions. So for that reason and only that reason I keep IE around.

There are a few add-ons I really like,
ReminderFox - lets you set up events/tasks/appointment/etc from within Firefox
NoScript - blocks all sorts of nasties - and allows you control over which sites load various types of scripting
Print/Print Preview - replaces the standard Firefox Print button to allow you to preview the page before wasting paper on printing a page with just a line or two of unneeded stuff

There are hundreds of add-ons on the Mozilla site - have fun searching.

Just click on the bolded text above to go and look.

Alan thanks so much for posting these.   Remember the perfect crush problem, I put the no script add on and its no problem any more, its still appears put I can click it off and came shut  Firefox off without going through that site. Thanks.
