Vic I can't find the thread where we had talked about cuts that looked out of place in many windows of times gone by.

In my research of John LaFarge, I found several windows like those I had questioned.  The attachment is one such window.  Is this an example of what you were talking about in repair work?  I don't know if it is a LaFarge or not because it starts off with him and then it appears that as the pictures continue, the techniques changes greatly.

Yes that is and English window made by Wm. Morris. It has  "random" lead lines. While it may not look good o some people, it DOES make a strong window
