This question came up in a chat room discussion. How do you dispose of the fusing paper dust after fusing?

A HEPA vac is the best but I tend to lay damp paper towels over the residue and sweep it into a container.

Well.........thinfire is pretty much nuisance dust but it's dust nonetheless.  You really don't want to be putting it into the air and breathing it.  I don't, anyway!

I first put on a mask then, like Anne, I take a damp paper towel and scoop up the dust, then dump it in the trash. Any residue I vac it into my Shark, it works great.

A HEPA filter removes 99.9% particles .3 microns or larger. The vac you bought will not release the pollutants into the air while you suck them up. BUT your machine does not have a bag. So how much dust will get into the air while you shake out the vac? Food for thought, and dust to breath
