I had a glass epiphany in the middle of the night, then I couldn't sleep thinking of how to make stuff happen, and I desperately need your input.
The piece will be about 24x30, taller than wider, in a wood frame and will be hung inside, in an area with a relatively dry climate.  I want to have a business logo on a piece of clear glass, similar to what you would see on a business door or window. Then I want to do a stained glass window and overlay it over the logo piece. They will be the same size.
Two major concerns..1. How do I get that logo on glass? Silkscreen or..? Who does that kind of stuff..a sign company? 2. Should I solder most of the perimeter and leave vent holes top and bottom (will the wood frame complicate this?) , or get it as dry as possible and solder the two together completely? Since they won't have common cut lines, I can't plate it as one normally would.
       huh                HELP                    huh

A graphics place can do lettering to be applied to the glass. Why not just have a clear piece of glass within the stained glass panel and have the letters applied to it after it's constructed. That way the panel is only one layer.

I'd like the logo to obscurely show through the entire stained glass image.the effect would be as if one image were superimposed over the other.
