The glass I used in the windows for the pattern is spectrum rough rolled, but you could use any cathedral, semi-transparent or opal that will allow some light through.
Yes it is my site, but I share it with Denise of Pisces Glass Works.

The reason I asked is that in the photo it looks to shimmer a little and since I have just gotten back into the craft I've noticed a lot of new and different kinds of glass then what I used in the 70s + 80s.

It's only a pic of that type of glass that you can use to color in the sections of the pattern. In real life it probably would not have quite that look.
