Knocked this out this morning - and we actually have some of the white stuff here in Arizona (about a 2 hour drive away - and it can stay there!)

Lovely, Alan.  That is about as close as I'd want to get to a snowflake!  We are a few miles south of you along Hunt Hwy.  I'm firing the kilns in the garage and the torch on the porch!  It is good to be beyond the heat and back to work.

Pretty!

As long as it must be winter, I want white to reflect as much light as possible. I am glad the desert has cooled down to a usable temperature. Have fun Alan and Debbie.

Very nice, Alan.
You can keep the snow in Arizona, though. We were in PA last week and had about 3". SOme area got as much as 13! That was MY wake up call for the season.

Beautiful. Much more enjoyable than the kind you have to shovel.

Thanks everyone, it was a fun thing to make. Gotta make some more once I get more square bevels.

I couldn't find the posts we had on these snowflakes.  I do have 7 of them all foiled and ready to solder.  I soldered one up quick this week for a Christmas gift.

I made snowflakes this year too, but smaller ones with crystals in the middle.  When they didn't sell I figured we might as well put them to use.  If you look really hard you can see them in the window.  When we do get sun we have rainbows in the room.
