Thanks for all the encouragement, Folks!  Dennis helped me make up a big pot of chili and homemade cornbread on Sunday for my daughters, son in law, and grandson....I was so tired by the time everyone got there, I had no choice but to sit and be waited on.....I am sure you all know just how hard that is.....My son in law told me that they would bring breakfast on Thanksgiving morning, and they did not want me to do anything..... Dennis has put the wheelchair my Mom used into our most used vehicle, so I won't wear myself out if we go anywhere there may be walking....used it yesterday, and it was just so nice not to be so tired when I get back to the car!   I am improving every day.  Doing more sitting than walking.   Can't wait til I can do glass again!  That is the very worst part!

I wasnt looking forward this weekends show held at the local Fire dept. Last year did ok but sales were way down. I had to do the show myself but my daughter helped set up before she went to work. The crowds again were steady but sparse but they were buying. After adding everything up I tripled the last shows  total and also got 2 repairs (one I will have many questions) and a commission for a panel. So I guess one never knows.  I have no more shows but the store where some of my glass is at is having a open house the 18th hopefully the sales are as good. I wish good luck to all who have shows left and have great sales .

Glad to hear that your show went well!  Heard on the radio that sales this Christmas is up.  Maybe it is true and I am sure it helps that your work is so beautiful.  I am so happy for you.

Thanks guys... We went to Walmart yesterday and was amazed of how stocked everything is...The TV's were stacked everywhere, clothes piled high and all those crazy gift sets stacked high too. Hopefully everyone is getting the message and buying American and supporting local businesses.

Just to update:  I graduated to using a cane last week.  I go back to the doctor on Dec 27.  The cane is better than that walker!
