This bowl was made from a piece of glass found at a thrift store. It was cut and stacked two layers high then fired flat to full fuse. Once finished it was then put in a square waffle drop ring on 2" post and fired once more. This is the resulting bowl. I was very happy with the results for a 99 cent investment and a piece of unknown glass.

Oh I really like it! Love the colors.

I hope it stays together for you, being that it is 2 unknown glasses fused together.

Very pretty!

That was my first thought too, Kev. But since I don't see a divit line between the colors that is a good start. Good luck! Nice investment , but I would not sell it. It may crack anytime in the next few years.

But it was not 2 pieces of glass. It was only one piece with the colors in it so I think I am safe. I thought about that too but the colors were all there to begin with and i just put it together. I layered it on itself so there would be no other glass involved.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I have several more to do for Christmas presents. Just got some new molds so going to try them out. I really do like kiln work but I still have a lot to learn.
