I am attaching a very small copy of a photo I want to use to do a cycling theme piece. I originally planned on using a single layer copper foil approach.  Plating also came up as a possibility.  Since I have never done plating and know little about it, the project went to the back burner.  If you were doing a piece from this photo, what approach would you use?

Plating might be the easier way to go....create the background, then plate the bicycle and rider on the front of it.

I agree that this piece seems to lend itself to plating.  Think it out before you begin, and jump in...... Thumbs Up 3

Thanks. Plating it will be--but it will be more of an easing into it, I think, than a jumping in.

Plating would be great. Since you have never done it, don't get discouraged as challenges arise. Take it slow and easy.
