You solved the holly lantern puzzle for me, so here is another one. On YouTube there is a video that shows making stained glass facial features for Jack O'Lanterns, much on the idea of Mr. Potatohead. There are holes cut in the pumpkin to let some light through and then the stained glass pieces are pressed on top of the holes. The video does not show how the pieces are attached. I was thinking of making some soldering on copper tubing to stick into the pumpkin. Would triangular shaped pieces of glass be better? Or maybe the thingy needs to be stronger than both of those? I am attaching a screen capture from the video so you can see what I mean.
The video says there is a pattern on an associated web site but it doesn't seem to be there any more.
