I finally whipped my studio into shape.  Just have to find a home for my larger panels and shampoo the carpet that is at the back of the studio.

The darn place was worse than your grampa's cellar with cobwebs everywhere, and it had a terrible odor, (almost like cat smell) that I will share about below.  I hadn't been down there for months, except to store things there while doing all the big  projects we have had done in the past months.

In that time span unbeknown to me, little miss Annie had decided to use the back carpet as a toilet.  Any time you leave her alone or don't give her enough attention cause you are busy, she used to go down there and leave a little tiny poop to get even with us.  This peeing thing is new.  Anyway, needless to say the carpet needs a good cleaning now.

If all goes as planned, glass will be flying again within the next week or so.

A local shop has asked that I put some of my smaller things in there for the holiday season, so I will have to check my inventory to see what I have ready to go and see what else she may want.  I also want to start on some Christmas gifts for the family too.

I am so looking forward to getting back into doing the glass again.  It was always a source of peacefullness for me along with that feel good feeling.  Lord knows I could use some peace in my life about now, LOL

Good for you Joan! I know how you feel. I've been without a place to work or time to do it for a while, and I can FINALLY see the end of the building project, and can hardly wait to get back to glass!

Good for you Joan!  Glad you are feeling better!
I haven't done anything since last year before Christmas.  Just don't have the ambition or the time.  I did get a repair finished last week that I've had since last fall and needs to be returned to the owners in Sept. when I see them, so it was a had to get it done.  I don't think I have and Christmas gifts to make except maybe ornaments, so should get on those.  Did them last minute last year.  I also have a bunch of Christmas Spiders I want to make for this year and would like to get some done before I see family end of Sept.  See if that happens.

Hi Tre.  Very happy for you Tre.  I have visited your blog once in awhile to follow your home progress.  Can't wait to see your finished home.

I believe this picture was from MaryAnn in Georgia.
You can find a few versions of the story.  It basically is a story of how tinsel became used on Christmas trees.  So Christmas spiders are part of decorating and a symbol of luck.
