I had so many little scrap pieces of glass so thought I would try to do a lamp with them.  I was happy with it but OH all those tiny pieces were rough. Here is what it turned out to be.

wow what a great use for the scrap glass.  Must have taken you a long time.  It must give you a maze of color when it is on.  Very pretty

WOW!!  That's a big project for a first lamp!!  All those little pieces - your fingers must have been raw from the foiling.  Really nice lamp.

Thanks for the nice comments.
Yes, it was a test of patience but my husband always says I have the most he has ever seen.
I bought a 13" Worden dome form a few weeks back because I aquired several lamp bases in a bargain buy. I saved so much on the bases so thought could now afford a form. I used it and for the height went completly to the bottom of the form with glass. The shade itself is about 12" tall.
It really did not take me all that long. I worked about 1 1/2 weeks some each day but did not keep up with the hours as it was for me. I have a table foiler and most of the pieces I managed to foil using it. My fingers did get a little sore and had one minor cut. I set my sights big for a first but now I think I can safely say my soldering has improved. LOL        'THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE.

VERY nice! And yes, you really do have a lot of patience.  Do you use the rubber fingers?  I swear by them.

Mannnn.........that's allot-o-little pieces. That had to be a tedious job for sure and it looks great!

I have only made 1 swag lamp and 2 table lamps so far and the one table lamp I made the brass base myself.
