Bevel clusters

I had a brainstorm the other day when it comes to using bevel clusters. Maybe this is the way that everyone should do this, but it just hit me.
I was making another of the Celtic Heart pieces. I love bevels but the template that comes with the clusters is never as accurate as you need it for cutting pieces. I had always taken the bevels, placed them on the template and traced around them to get an accurate shape and size. This worked but was time consuming.
Here is the brain storm. I took the cluster and foiled the whole thing. I then tacked soldered the cluster together. Now that the entire cluster was tacked together, I used that to trace for the template and remaining pieces that need to be cut. This worked out great.

I was taught that way, was told if I was using foil the bevels would not sit per template as they were cut for setting into came.
Figured Bob was right as none of them did fit to the templates!

It's not just the size that doesn't match. Very often the shape is off some as well.

Well done Scooch! You've re-invented the wheel again! I re-invented it years ago, and then found out that everybody had been doing it for years before that.
