My first floral plate

get kiln wash to stick to a stainless steel mold?

Somebody told me I had to heat mold first to around 1300 F.

Someone else said I had to sandblast it.

So what do I need to do?  One or the other, or maybe both????

I believe you can either heat it with a blow torch or in the oven to about 400 degrees and then spray the kiln wash on it.

Becki will know for sure. I've never tried it yet.

Yup...I heat mine to about 400 degrees in the oven and spray the kiln wash on it.
