I was able to get a glass rack from my favorite glass store that is closing.  Its three sections high and 8 feet long.  We picked it up Sunday afternoon and Rick and Brad, my future son-in-law put it together.  Now the room is totally a mess, all tables had to be moved, etc. but once I get all the glass put up, we will rearrange and hopefully my work flow pattern will be better.

I have 3/4 of the glass put up, but have a lot of blenko to put up and two other boxes of other sized glass to put up, but have to wait for huband to move the boxes where I can reach them.

Here's some pictures of the new glass rack.

The rack is anchored to the wall and its not going anywhere.

Kev,
What can I say, glass shopping is my favorite kind of shopping and I have never found a piece of glass that I didn't love(or need..lol).  And, it was a great score on the glass rack - I now can see every piece of glass and its up off the floor and not leaning against table legs.  I surprised myself with some of the glass I had that I wasn't able to get to before.

Thanks Barbara and Audrey - I did get lucky - but added to the work load and until I get all the glass up I really can't finish the cow - but I'll get there.

ct4mom,
I agree it will be great once everything is set back up - its just setting it back up - that's taking a lot of time. I really wanted to get it done before the next chemo, but that's not going to happen - so we have to hope no really bad side effects.

got all the blenko glass put up last night so that only leave three more boxes of mixed sizes of glass - then the rearranging starts.

have a few more boxes to unload and husband has said I'm not allowed to buy any more glass.  But I need hawk wings and root beer - so I have to sweet talk him - I want to make an eagle and hawk wings works wonders - so I'll have to save some money and we'll see....
chemo went well so I should be able to hopefully put up at least two more boxes of glass and then that only leaves 2 more to do.
Then rearranging the glass room - never realized how big 8 feet of shelves takes up = have to cut down about 7 sheets of glass to fit into the shelves.  Most of it is architectural glass, but I have three sheets of bullyeyes with silver running through them - one is blue and one is purple and I already have green that has been cut down, blue and purple need cut down.

beautiful set-up Evelyn.  Happy for you.  It should be helpful in sorting the glass by type and color.
