3 or 4 years ago I was commissioned to create a panel depicting a sea turtle. The piece was completed and installed. At that time, I was paid $1500.00 for it. Since then, the person that owned the home, just recently sold the house and stipulated that the panel was not to remain with the house. Apparently the people buying the house loved it so much they offered her $1800.00 for it and she took the offer. Well...when I heard that it made my day. I was also happy it was going to remain where it belonged.

Kevin, that's wonderful and just think, maybe the sellers when they move into their new house miss the stained glass so much you might get another commission (wishful thinking on my part)! I remember that panel and it is beautiful!

I'm not sure they will want another panel, but I thought it was nice that the value of that panel went.
