Hi Contentntexas,  Welcome

On behalf of the AOG team, we would like to extend a warm welcome and we are glad you decided to join our forum. If you need any assistance, please feel free to ask any member, we are more than happy to assist you.

To ensure our membership roster is up to date with active members, and as per the membership agreement, please be aware that inactive members that have been absent from the forum for 180 days will automatically have their membership removed.

Out of curiosity, how did you hear of us and ultimately find us and could you please let us know what type or types of glass (Cold/Warm/Hot) you enjoy doing?

One thing more - the only stupid question is the one that does not get asked.

Enjoy!

Hello and Thanks!

I was referred here by a new FaceBook friend - Diane Gasiewicz.

As far as what type of glass - my interest right now is cold.  I took a class a few years back and loved it - I'm just now finding time to actually get into it.  However - I have to say that the other types interest me as well.

Thanks again and I look forward to 'meeting' new friends!

Welcome Kelly!  Di is just the best, it's great that she's turned you on to AOG, I think that you'll enjoy all the convo's that take place here.

There are lots of cold workers (I'm one of them until I save up enough $$ to buy a kiln)..lol..but it sure is interesting to watch the threads where people show off their warm glass projects, so I figure that when the time is right I'll know at least a little about it.

Hope you enjoy your visits to AOG and thanks for joining up!

Jan -

I am from Amarillo - right in the middle of all of the wildfires lately!  As a matter of fact, the ones that burned day before yesterday out south of town was less than 5 miles away from my home.....and a mile from my dad's place.  Kinda spooky for sure!

Thanks for the welcome!
