I've been asked to find a pattern for a brindle boxer with uncropped ears... some special friends of my parents came home to find theirs had passed away while they were on vacation so before I go on a spending spree I really can't afford buying a bunch of dog books, I was wondering if anyone has any of the dog books with the boxer and if so, does the boxer have uncropped ears and brindle coloring? I figure the coloring will be the hardest to find so I can probably modify a pattern to get that, it's the ears I'm really hoping to find right...

thanks

Sorry, I cant help you except to recommend you try the local library, and maybe xerox a picture if you find one.  Or if you have a veterinarians office close by, they may have some literature with what you need.

You might try this Google search: http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&hl=en&source=hp&biw=1159&bih=555&q=brindle+boxer+uncropped+ears&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=

Show quite a few examples of the brindle coloration's.

thanks guys,

with my limited free time right now, I'm hoping to find a pattern that I can start with and work from there...

I did just talk to The Amazing Rebecca and bought a couple of books from her to hopefully get me started...

Denise has a boxer pattern on the Glass Pattern Source site. Not sure about the ears though.

thanks Kev, found that one and have contacted De about the ears...

took me forever to find the site -- isn't there a link for it on one of your sites? I finally moved it down to my frequently used sites so I'll see it next time

This boxer isn't "brindle", but you can choose a glass that suits. Also I'm not sure about the ears, but.........................

thanks for the laugh Graham,

although my husband would be sure to like it during the design phase, I don't think my mom would like the final pattern and seeings as she's going to be doing the glasswork I need to make it to her liking...

Kev,

when I finally opened my eyes, I found it... not sure what my deal was this morning :-)

Graham!  BEHAVE!

The vet's office is a good idea.  They might have pictures of the ears.  I got pictures of cars from the car dealership before.  Of course, our vet is so busy that I'm not sure they would ever get around to it.

Lou Ann, were you interested in just the dogs head as a suncatcher or the round panel?  Let me know.  I'll modify either of them for you.

Anyway, here they both are..let me know which one you'd like.  Both have a natural ear.

T'was no problem, the basic dog was there, changing the ear in GE is just so easily done.  LOL..that's why I'm a GlassEye-aholic I think.

It didn't take long to change both, which will be a benefit down the road, just in case someone else wants a Boxer with a natural ear!  So thanks from me!
