I know I've been MIA for a while...the house should be done late this summer. In the meantime, we got the first cabinet delivery today, to include the laundry/craft room. The room will have a center island for my glass stuff. The island will have doors to keep little visiting fingers away from the glass. On the left of the island will be drawers to hold projects in progress.    Ed is thinking of putting a light table on the top right. I'm so excited...I can hardly wait to get it all together so I can actually work on some glass!

Gee Tre, it probably feels like forever, glad you're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  The island will work great and will give you so much access!

Thanks Barbara, it was very inexpensive porcelain tile, but I like the way it turned out. We'll mostly come in and out through this room so I wanted something impervious and indestructible...wet dogs, muddy boots, paint, glass and laundry.. wish I'd picked a darker grout though. This was Almond. Even though I sealed it, I imagine I'll be scrubbing it regularly...or not.. :)

Fabulous work area!   As for scrubbing the grout - I'd go with 'not'!  Soon it will be a darker shade and no-one will know!!!
