My name’s Beth and I live in Bullhead City AZ which usually has the country’s record high for the day during the summer months!  But, like they say, it’s a dry heat!  I learned stained glass from a local shop-owner who is a wonderful teacher and has turned into a great friend.  I’ve been doing glass a little over 4 years and mainly do copper foil, but have done a few pieces with lead, too, that turned out pretty nice if I do say so.  The on-line forums have been a tremendous help to me with SO much good information from everyone – this site has really turned out to be fabulous!  Great work, Kev!   Thanks, everyone, for making this site my first-thing-in-the-morning check-in.

Hi ya, Beth! Welcome to the forum, it's a pretty friendly place to learn and share!

I'm in Ohio, we don't have the hottest or coldest of anything. No ocean, no mountains, no desert, no nothing. Why do I still live here?!

Welcome Beth, glad that you're aboard!  Hope you enjoy the site and the fun people here!  We DO love pics, but we also love to give advice, swoon over everyone's projects and just generally have a great time!
I'm in Maine  , people here are from all over the map!  So fill up a mug of    and pull a chair up to the bar, I'm sure that you're going to just love it!

come come Bleedy Pokes we have a Lake and a River, also humidity, mosquitos, snow, wind chills, and variety (if you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes and it will something different) or as someone told me once the four seasons in Ohio are: Almost Winter, Winter, still Winter, and Humidity

I had heard them as Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter and Construction.

Or maybe that was Illinois.  :>

LOL Lynn, might be Illinois, but I've often heard that line used about my state as well.  Cause Almost Winter, Winter and Still Winter totally wrecks the roads up heah.
