Thank you to my forum friends who gave me tips on this technique for plating glass.  I read about Barry Masser on this forum and bought his books.  I love his patterns but thought they might be to much for a first project.  I decided on this pattern and just plated the dress area and put a clear textured glass as the final layer in the back.

It was quite fun to do and I would certainly do more of this type of stained glass.

Yes, I would do more of this!  It looks so much more dramatic in person and it gives the window "depth".

Is the dress plated, or is it soldered at a different elevation than the figure?

The dress and the headpiece are plated.  It has a gold color glass on the top layer and a green and white glass beneath it.  The dark blue glass is some very old antique glass I picked up that was scrap and the very bottom layer is a clear textured glass.
