I'm sure that many of you remember my post about my grandson's rampage in my glass studio...in the 30 minutes he was up there I could not believe the damage he inflicted on the studio. This project was all but finished...and he tossed it to the ceramic tile floor. The floor held up..lol..but quite a few pieces of this project was broken. (Ohhh glasisfun I so totally commiserate with you!) I really didn't think that I had any glass left for some of the features in this to be able to replicate what I'd originally done..talk about depressing. But fortunately I managed to find enough of the same glass to rebuild it. So now it's FINALLY FINISHED. LOL. (And there's a nice lock on the studio door!)

Really nice De, and it's really nice that you found more of the same glass so your original vision on this remained intact.

Thanks everybody! @Anne, yes, I was so glad, you got it, it was difficult for me to begin seeing it come together another way with different glass choices. I'd have probably finished it, but wouldn't have liked it nearly as well as the first go round. I got sooooo lucky. I really didn't think that I had any of the glass left.
LOL, I'm loving the new lock, I can breathe a sigh of relief..now if I can only manage not to lose the keys....
Thanks again for the kind words guys!

Looks a good as new! Admire your fortitude in repairing it. Tie the key around your neck! Dont' leave it in reach.....ever!

great job De. Love the water fall glass the most. Now you have to find a safe hiding place for the keys to the studio LOL

De
can you lay the key on the top of the door frame or can you put a hook up high enough that it will be years before he can reach it?

I thought about using a cup hook, but then I felt that it would be wise if no one but me knew where the key was.. my son has a tendancy to use my tools, duct tape, etc whenever he feels like it (problem is he doesn't return them...) So now I have something that fixes that..I don't mind if he asks me..I guess he'll need to learn how to ask. :-)
For now I've hidden them..I know where they are, but they aren't immediately accessible to anyone else. LOL

Thanks Meaco and Becki. The intended recipient saw it yesterday and was amazed! His birthday is coming up the end of this month AND when I went on vaca last year he was kind enough to come over to my house and take care of 3, lol..sometimes 4 Am. Pit Bull Terriers. He more than deserves this.
