the fair was one of the worst ones I've ever done... I sold a few items but none of these

there was some interest in them but the people who looked at them had upside down plugs -- electricians in this area of TN don't realize the polarized plugs need to go a specific way so things can get plugged in correctly (have the same problem in my addition) so everything has to be plugged in upside down... (the larger slot on the outlet is on the right instead of the left and the little hole is on top)

Those are very cute!  And it's always nice when you find something that not only looks great but is fast to produce!

Sorry that the fair didn't do well.  I think that eventually you'll attend one that will be successful for you.

How odd that the polarized outlets don't seem to be installed the right way?  Yikes..that definitely could have an impact when selling nightlights.

Luck to you!  De

The plugs in my house are the same and slowly we are changing them to be the right way..I have had a few night lites with plugs that rotate so it didnt matter, I'm sure they are sold out there but never looked into them.

Here in Arizona, the building code states that all electrical outlets will be installed with the grounding hole towards the floor (right side up) WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THOSE PLUGS ATTACHED TO A SWITCH ON THE WALL - then the grounding hole MUST be pointed towards the ceiling (in other words upside down) so that the owner will know which wall outlet is attached to the switch by the door.....oh by the way - only one of the two plug outlets is attached to the switch - - - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

years ago when I was growing up in NH, they used to wire it so all the top plugs on a 2 plug outlet were attached to the switch
