What a great job you did!  I am with the majority that say you made the most of clear textures.  It really works!!

Thanks to all of you. I too really like what the clear textures did for this lamp - but holy smoke is it ever bright!! I know it doesn't look like it in the pic I posted - and I don't know why I'm surprised as it is all clear glass..............but there we are.  I'm going to take it to the shows, see if ends up being this years' wow! Gee, maybe it'll even sell!

I really like that pattern and in all clear textures....that kind of brightness is just what we need in a couple rooms, our livingroom is pretty dark with only a small lamp I made and the lights up high on the fan.

That's got me thinking - maybe I should try one,  well at least a sconce lamp - which is about the closest I get to a lampshade - as we are all pretty much changed over to energy saving globes here,  which; - say what they like - I find do not give the same light as incandescent globes!!
Hope you sell it - AND get orders, Anne!

and it was a free pattern you guys so if you want it pm me and I'll send it to you! Give me your email address.

Beth, I agree about the new bulbs, not nearly as bright.  I had this electrical stuff in a bag in the back of my workbench - which reminds me I should probably see if it's still available.  I know that we won't be able to get the old bulbs soon.  This pattern would be easily convertible to a sconce Beth!
