I know I have been gone too long. Sorry!
Well I have a good excuse. Since 2009 you guys have listened to bits and pieces of this project from the design contest , the contract , to the buying of supplies. Well, here is a little progress report.
The glass is cut, I like the colors in the Spring light, and I have begun painting. No rest for the weary though. I have a long way to go. Like a second window :)

Wow girl, you've gotten alot done thus far, and the colors look great! Nice glass choices! I'm assuming lots of cathedrals due to the painting that will be done?
This will be a fun project to watch come alive! I love your pattern, you did an outstanding job on it. And I'll bet that you're very excited about the sun!
Update us when you have a chance!

Such a huge undertaking but not something you'd have taken on if it wasn't what you like to do right? Have fun.

Pant, pant , pant I feel like I have been running a marathon. This was a way bigger undertaking than this newby realized. But I am happy!
I have finished the trace line firings and am working on the shading firings. For shading I am using a Black gum/water matt and a Bistre Brown Alcohol Matt on top to save a firing. Alcohol is SOOOOO messy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just think, what if i were drinking it too!
One of my million concerns has been to get the shading dark enough. The window is south facing and will always have sun on it at noon. So the painting fades out easy in appearance. In a few days I will have this layer all fired and wax it back up to the shower door to see , before I start silver staining. I hope it does not need another layer of shading , fingers crossed.
What a learning experience! I could not have done this without help from my friends. You guys should consider hanging out at the AGG conference this summer in North Carolina. I am in awe where they have helped me get to with my work.

I have had the installation date moved. Can't make the first date happen.
