Square potmelt

I made this square potmelt and then slumped it twice in different molds to get two shapes. I used Stephen's idea of putting clear glass for the melt to drip on and I like the way it turned out.
Has anyone seen the new Slumpy potmelts? They have all kinds of new holes on them!
Thanks for looking.

Looks good Marsha. I've seen the pot melt pots for sale, but who wants to pay that price when fr the most part they are used only once, and a clay pot is so cheap.

Nice Marsha. When it's done and before you slump it has it melted to 1/4 inch or is it thicker?
The pot melt pots are only used once Kev??? Wow, what a waste. Is that because the melt leaves a bit of glass in the pot and you don't want those colors mixing with your next melt?

Only once? I use mine more than once. You just have to use similar colors in the pot.

Thanks!! I use 4 inch clay pots and I use them until they fall apart. I used kiln shelf pieces to make the square. I might try some of the new hole shapes when I get more pots.
