Thanks for all the kind comments,  but making whirls is not so much a  great skill  as delicate work and the desire to create little enclosed worlds!  (Not wanting to know what a shrink would make of that one!!).  Anyone can do it if they really want to, - but not every one wants to - which is how it should be!  Small is my thing!, although I can certainly admire a beautiful big work - I would never aspire to creating one.
 
JaneB  - I make the dragonfly bodies much like the butterfly's I explained earlier - pictures pending!   I need visuals to explain!

Joan - believe me these glass ones are the ONLY spiders that don't scare the beejaysus out of me - and I see a lot where we live!!
