I've been helping a friend redo the siding on his mothers house, and she bought new lights and was going to throw these away.
I picked them out of the garbage pile and took them home, they were originally just clear bevels. I have two this size and two larger ones.

I'm thinking about keeping the clear bevels in the center and then finishing off the bottom with the yellow, what do you guys think?

Overall it was a pretty good find because after all is said and done I will have 20+ bevels to mess around with  Thumbs Up 3

Enjoy

I thought so too Malinda.
I just couldn't stand seeing it go to the garbage. My buddies looked at me like I was nuts :)

Planning on it. I'm finishing the basement in my house, and one room is going to be my man cave/bar and I'm planning on hanging them by my bar.

Nice save!!!  I think leaving the clear bevels in the middle would be the way I would do it.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty excited about the other two that I have that are about two times bigger!
I'll have to take one to my glass shop and make sure I buy enough glass to redo them but I think they will look great!

Something to do to jazz up a porch light porch lights/

I recently sand blasted a street number of a piece of flashed glass, cut to the size of a beveled side of the lamp. It can either replace one of the bevels, or as I did on this one, plate the etched glass behind the bevel.

Is this in the house you're moving from Joe?  Or did you decide to stay?

For right now we are staying put here. I'm excited to get to the glass store and get more glass to finish these.

Does anyone know if I could wire a light like this to be just a plug in light?

Really great find, Joe!  Finds like that don't happen often, but it is great when they do!  annabelle

Well took a chance and wired it up to a plug in and it worked!

The one picture has a 60W bulb in it and is hard to take a picture of, the other two have a 25W bulb in it but it's a blue bulb so it throws the color off.

Just thought I would share!
