Memaribeth, yes I drew the pattern from a picture of a monarch butterfly.  I drew the pattern with one side a monarch and the other side the swallowtail, which I hope to get to as soon as I can get my way down to the bay area to get some yellow glass.  I may not be able to get there til June though.. :-(

Everyone already said what I was thinking, but after you work so hard and create such a beautiful piece, you really don't get tired of other appreciation of the hard work you did, do you?

Gosh, I love the pattern you drew; it is so life-like!  You really did well!!!  Can't wait to see the swallowtail when you are able!  =)
