Everyone! I feel so welcomed by everyone here, I keep scouring the forum and I see so much talent that I am intimidated by all of you!!! But I know that it is just going to take some practice, and patience to get the results all of you get with your glass work. I wanted to get this seahorse out of the way so I can start on a few stained glass copper foil projects...but now my other addiction has surfaced...Gardening! I joined the Hort Society here(where I am a wannabe gardener among Masters!) and have offered my yard up for an open house garden tour(Sheesh, I am having an anxiety attack just thinking of it!lol) And so need to get out in the yard and get busy! I am going to have a few pcs of garden art for sale too. (Like all of us who have no more window room left, I have no more yard room left for Garden Art!ha!)So somehow, I have to rev it up from 0 to 80 in one week!ha!?! That being said....I just had a vision of this little guy>sitting in the middle of the pond....blinging out in the sun.....

He will look AMAZING in the middle of your pond!  He will sparkle out there and be a total focal point.  No garden wannabe for you...you will be the envy of them all!

I have a soft spot for sea horses also.  You did a fantastic job on this and he would look great as the focal point of the pond.  Will sell in a flash.

Your seahorse is amazing - the fact that you added fins to the original and then mosaiced with such wonderful glass choices - I'm just in awe!

Finished except for the grouting...I Love grouting! So tomorrow will be a great day!heh heh! Added my friend's starfish(gave her the mold for Christmas)
Edited by Alan to fix links

Are you serious about the grouting comment? I'm learning to like it but it's love hate right now.

Me too Malinda, I think the only part I like about grouting is that it is close to the end of the project.

He's great Jane, you've captured that coy look those little shy guys have. What sealer do you use?

I use an outdoor grout/stone sealer , and the grout is outdoor use too. I am trying to make sure everything is longer lasting...with that said, I have GOT to start bringing stuff in for the winter, or at least cover it from the elements, as I have more and more stuff that has gotten frost damage again this year...grrr, when will I learn!!!
