I'm not entirely sure why I spent so much of my precious, limited glassing time reconstructing these,  but here they are.   They started out as being fun, then got to the point when it was too late to give up!!   The amber one has gone a little 'oval',  but the clear one fitted well onto a small glass bowl that I used as one would make a 'tiffany style' lampshade.
(here's hoping this post does'nt dissolve into cyber space as the last one did - as well as yesterday's e-mails!!!)  Grrrr!!

I love the mosaic ones.  You really have that creative gene, I don't remember anything you've made that I haven't liked.

my motto is, "I'll try something once, but it doesn't mean I will do everything twice".  Neat way to turn an accident into something nice to have

Love them Elizabeth!  The hanging one is really nice!  I've done the same with broken wine glasses..heck you can even break a few on purpose for this project.  I will also say, that at shows..people seems to LOVE these.  I sold several at the last show I did, they were the first items to disappear.

The hanging candle cups made from glasses with the stems broken (or cut) off always sell well.   These were actually built up from pretty much smashed glasses - for these I will charge a bit more!  - though few customers will see the difference!  Otherwise they'll end up in someone's Christmas stocking!
