I have had with that color as well Marsha. You really have to look very hard at it for any areas in it that are not the same as the rest of the sheet...they will show up. Not sure what it is with that color.

Did you cap this with clear, by any chance? It kind of looks like trapped air. I don't think I've ever had a problem with chestnut.

The clear is on the bottom. I didn't want bubbles by the other colors....maybe I'm doing it wrong.....

It was chestnut that I used as well. The piece I had had very subtle striations in it in a band going from one end to the other. I figures they would disappear once fused, as they were very subtle...but nope..they were there and quite noticeable compared to the other pieces.
