I've been playing with frit casting molds and after casting the pieces I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with them!  I've played with different lay-outs and different glass for awhile before I finally decided that the simplest one was the one I liked best!  Sometimes less is more!

The needles were also cast with frit in a mold...just a much thinner casting.

Cool...they almost look frosted which I think really adds to the overall look of it. The pine cones are awesome as well.

The addition of clear frit with the green gives them a frosted look...almost icy!  Thanks, Kev.

That's beautiful Becki, it doesn't need a single thing more..you said it right..sometimes less is definitely more!  One of my students is working on a beautiful Pinecone panel...she'd LOVE this plate!
