Here's the medium sushi plate and the soap dish.  Somehow I think the soap dish should be taller but I think it's cute anyway!

Love the colors!

As a means of learning, I have a question.....

It kinda looks like the soap dish pulled in on the sides. Is the base of the dish thicker than 1/4" after the slump? Would that mean the temp was too high and the glass pooled? Would a lower temp and longer hold  prevent the pulling in?

Thanks everyone!!
Kev, I think I should have been slower too.  It is supposed to have "sides"  I'll try a lower schedule on the next one.

Hi Marsha,

omg..don't go by what I say...I'm still in the dark coming out of the shadows...lol

I'm thinking a lower temp with a longer soak to get it slumped might result in better sides. I just read something recently, and they were taking about the glass pooling at the bottom of the mold. They suggested lowering the temp and holding longer to get it slumped. The higher previous temp caused the glass to slide down to the lowest part of the mold and collect there.

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.

Nice looking stripes, Marsha.  I do agree with Kev.  A slower ramp up, lower process temp and possibly a longer hold might take care of the problem.
