Was fiddling around with some star bevels I found (dunno where they came from) and came up with this candle shelter/night light? - not totally finished yet, sill trying to decide if I want to put it on a wooden base an make a night light out of it or not.
Loosely based on a Spectrum free pattern.

I really like it too Alan. I was looking at an Aanraku table lantern book yesterday and this would look great as one. Love the blue!!!

I agree with Di Alan. This will really 'shine' as a night light and on a nice wooden base it would be great.

Very pretty.  I vote for a wooden base.  Would love to see it lit up!

Ooh la la! I like !!!!!!! Love that blue. It's going to pop when it's lit. I think a base would look nice too.

Cute Alan!  I'd cast my vote for a nightlight with a wooden base!  Love that blue glass?

another idea, maybe not for this one, but for shorter 3 sided projects like this..put a bottom on it and make it a handy desk accessory for pens and pencils!

Very nice!
