Just finished this one today. It's a gog mosaic using stained glass and MAC glue.  Happy with the results...although it was very tedious with the background circles.  Measures 12" wide X 32" across.  My original idea I wanted to do was to use yellow sunflowers with the blue background.  Unfortunately, I didn't have enough yellow glass, so I switched over to orange.  Now that it's done I'm really liking the blue/orange combo.  It's hard to tell but the tiny circles in the background are red.

I like it.  The blue background makes the orange flowers pop!  Nice job, meaco!

Thanks, everyone!  I was a bit nervous grouting this one since it's all translucent glass...no grout bleed. YEAH!!   Woo-Hoo

Had to smile at your remark about 'no grout bleed".
I just am not into grout though I do love making glass on glass creations.

I like the vivid colors!!!

Are the small red circles glass nuggets?

The circles are stained glass cut with wheeled nippers...had to do just a few at a time...tedious and sore hands :)

looks great as usual Meaco. I'm curious, what do you do with these things once they're done? All or most of my stuff goes into a window usually. You'd have to have alot of shelf space and window space....

Thanks for answering, at first I thought they were too small to be nuggets,
but I do know I have a hard time judging size from photos plus I don't have great eyesight anymore.
Yes, they would be tedious but worth the effort.

I ran out of window space years ago!  LMAO  I only have 2 other big windows in my home now.  One is hanging on my screened in porch and the other is in my studio window.  I do several shows a year...this one will go in my one coming up in April.  They do pretty well since they are so different than the usual stuff you see.

Thanks again for the nice comments!  Small flowers

I need you in Florida, about to tear out the laundry and use a bunch of leftover tiles/broken scraps for a benchtop in the laundy. I'm no good at mosaics, always start off with good intentions but end up discarding them. Like to look at them of course!
